Completion of Solidator deliveries to Europe, USA, Canada, South America and Asia
tangible engineering USA Corporation has completed all Kickstarter shipments of Solidator to Europe, USA and Canada, South America and Asia. We are now accepting new orders.
2014-2017
2017 Solidator 2.0 DLP resin 3D printers are delivered

The Solidator Version 2 has an even larger build volume of 336 x 210 x 200 mm (13.22" x 8.26" x 7.87") - 14.11 litres - that's 210 mm x 56 mm more surface area than before! We've also almost doubled the resolution from 270 micron XY to 170 micron XY with a high-end, high-performance projector that allows for 4.6 billion voxels. Solidator version 2 is a super high speed printer with 2138 cm³ / 130 in³ / h and layer exposures of 10 seconds on this incredibly large build space with R001 resin.
Takeover of the entire sales and support of tangible engineering GmbH in Germany
All sales and support is now handled by tangible engineering GmbH, Germany, which was founded in 2001.
2017-2021
Release of the industry-proven large-area resin 3D printer Solidator 3.0

Resin 3D printer Solidator 3.0 doubles the native resolution and the height of the Z-axis, resulting in a huge build envelope. The Solidator 3.0 features the automatic resin refill system and a higher speed compared to the previous version 2.
Expansion of resin 3D printer materials
Solidator now offers clear, white and grey resins as well as dental model resins for this printer. These materials allow the printer to be used in architectural and dental applications in addition to the stable materials for industrial use.
2021 Solidator Resin 3D printer at Formnext 2021

Formnext is a trade fair that showcases the best of additive manufacturing and tangible engineering. Solidator is happy to be a part of it. We look forward to meeting our partners and customers face to face. This event is a fantastic opportunity to explore our latest printers and materials, learn about different 3D printing applications and network.
2022
tangible engineering presents the industry-proven, ultra-fast, large-format resin 3D printer Solidator 3+

tangible engineering GmbH presents the industry-proven Solidator 3+ resin 3D printer "Made in Germany". Building on the success of Solidator 3.0, Solidator 3+ and the Solidator Functional Resin material are optimised for large end-use parts that are produced in record time. The proven reliability in large industrial print shops and the extreme dimensional accuracy of the parts as well as the tensile strength of the materials speak for themselves.
Development of Solidator Functional Resin and Solidator Cure Box
The Solidator Functional Resin is much more tensile, stiff and scratch resistant than polyamide (PA12) used in SLS, but still offers sufficient impact strength and flexibility for snap fit designs and excellent surface finish. It is now also the highest speed material on the Solidator 3+.
Solidator 3+ printer units as well as the Solidator Cure Box for post-curing are in stock and ready for immediate dispatch.
2023
tangible engineering showcases ultra-fast 8k large-format resin 3D printer Solidator at Formnext 2023

At Formnext 2023, tangible engineering will be presenting the ultra-fast Solidator 8K Resin 3D printer with an impressive 8K resolution and an automatic refill system. tangible engineering GmbH is revolutionising the 3D printing market with a build rate of up to 9157 cm³ per hour and a large build volume of 330 x 185 x 400 mm. In addition, parts for the push-to-open mechanism can now be printed in impressive 17 seconds per part or for example a Lego® building block in 5 seconds can be manufactured in series production. End-use parts can be produced economically with the new system using the 3D printing process.
The 4th generation of the Solidator quadruples everything compared to the already very fast Solidator 3+:
- 4-fold speed
- 4 times the number of voxels in the build volume (8K resolution)
- 4 times larger selection of materials
Expansion of material portfolio and application areas
The broad Material portfolio comprises 19 materials including specialities such as ESD resin, ceramic composites, ultra-tough, high-temperature and materials for dental technology. This makes the Solidator 3D printer suitable for many industries: From the automotive industry to dentistry.
